And just like that, autumn arrived.
I know last weekend was the official end to summer and fall began, but I could have fooled myself, if only for a little bit during the day, that summer was still around. Until yesterday. Yesterday we got together with some friends at a nearby state park to do a little plant identification and have dinner together. The colors at the park all screamed autumn, and I'm just not sure when all the leaves made their change. Was it Tuesday night, maybe Monday? Our walk was beautiful, and the golden hour sunlight only intensified the beautiful harvest colors around us. This is my favorite time of year.
