Wisconsin Wonders.

I pretty much love the state we live in. Wisconsin has all sorts of landscapes- rolling hills speckled with farms, the northern woods, large and small lakes galore, and the driftless area where the glaciers failed to leave their mark. This is probably the area I love most in the state, where there's cliffs and rivers and rocks and all sorts of beauty. This particular spot was new for us, a little state park tucked along an unassuming highway. We spent the afternoon with friends hanging out in the water and walking along the gorge. Sometimes I forget that Wisconsin has scenery like this, and it's not at all far away. Every time we take a trip to that part of the state we say how we need to go back more often, it's pretty darn picturesque.
