Sailing on Lake Mendota

Living in a city that has two lakes certainly has its perks. During the winter they're used to fish on, in the summer people flock to the lakes to go boating, swimming, fishing, or just sit on the shore to feel the cool breeze. With this heat, we've realized how much more we should be going to water. Our friend Chris invited us out to go sailing on Lake Mendota, and we jumped at the chance. It was an absolute perfect evening for sailing. The wind kept up just enough, the water was pretty warm, and the temperature out couldn't have been much better. Everyone should live near a lake, and have a friend who takes them sailing; it's a pretty wonderful thing.
