Safe travels
We've been traveling quite a bit this summer so far. A few weeks ago we went up north, and stopped at some gorgeous places along the way home. We watched for the field of sunflowers Eric & I spotted a year ago driving the same road, but never found it. Luckily we took a different way back, and came across one that was possibly even better. We ate tasty meals, enjoyed a bit of cool weather, made a few trips to the ice cream store, and the boys went fishing. We marveled at the night sky- how so many stars there were. We went hiking and foraging, and as always enjoyed the mini vacation.
I finally bought lightroom, and right away bought Kellie Hatcher's b&w presets that I've been loving since I found out about them a few months back. (And just today I saw that Molly mentioned something about testing Kellie's color presets coming out soon. Oh boy I'm going to need those too.) Lightroom is a bit tougher to learn than I expected. I've been using Photoshop to do my post-processing for the past 3 or 4 years, so learning a whole new program is a bit daunting. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually, tutorials seem to be my best bet. Any suggestions for basic things I should be learning right away, or tutorials that are super?
