Lake Michigan as the sea.
This week we took a little trip up to the cottage in Door County with some friends. We happened to leave Tuesday afternoon, the day near record waves were happening on Lake Michigan thanks to superstorm Sandy. Since our drive was along the lake for quite some time, we made sure to make a few stops along the way to take photos and get a little time out of the car. The wind was fierce, and we all agreed that the lake looked more like the sea both days we were there. It was crazy to see the Lake Michigan churned up like that- Tuesday evening it was murky and brown, and Wednesday was a deep blue that we rarely see in Wisconsin. Our trip was certainly chilly, but we did our best to bundle up and enjoy the beauty outside anyway.
These next two photos Eric took & are straight out of camera, we couldn't believe how gorgeous the sunset was.
