January, 2012

The month of January seems to have flown by already, and I still keep forgetting it's already February. The month was a fine one, if not strange with the sporadic springy winter weather we've had. January included multiple game nights- with friends from in and out of town, 50 degree weather, a couple days involving all day snow, getting to the 4th season of How I Met Your Mother, trying new recipes from this wonderful cookbook I had from the library, visiting my sisters, and other day to day things. I'd like to blame the less than inspiring photos from this month on the bit of bug I caught at the end of the month, but I think it was really just because I was lazy. I'd like to say this month I'm trying harder to take photos while there is still light, and that I'm making a point of photographing pretty things, but so far that hasn't been the case. The best I could do to remedy my photographic funk at the moment is book a flight for next week to go visit a friend in Vegas, and cook a huge brunch today. I'm sure those brunch photos will be along shortly, but for now- here's what January looked like for me.
