Claire & Kyle’s backyard wedding

Claire and Kyle got married back in June of 2020, when everyone was doing as much as they could to social distance, quarantine before big events, and stay covid-free. They decided to majorly scale back on their guest list, and have the reception outdoors. Their ceremony took place at Blessed Sacrament in Madison, Wisconsin, and their reception was in their backyard. It was a gorgeous day, full of emotions. After the ceremony they went outside to find a group of friends who surprised them by biking over to cheer and give them love, to make up for the small guest list. Then at the reception, one of Claire’s closest friends surprised her with an appearance, and though they were only going to stop by to say hello, they got talked into staying for dinner. After dinner, more friends had yet another surprise for the couple- a bunch of them pooled money to buy a canoe as a gift. Needless to say, we had SO much fun capturing all of the excitement and joy that was showered on these guys. Other highlights of the day include grabbing ice cream from the Chocolate Shoppe and having a troupe of unicyclists bike by.
