Within the past couple weeks we’ve made marshmallows (we used this recipe with the addition of cardamom) and graham crackers, finished all of our canning except for maybe beets, and have been able to enjoy the beautiful leaves this autumn has brought. I am also honored to say I had the privilege of contributing to an oh so lovely publication. Most of you have heard of it or own a few issues yourself, but Kinfolk Magazine has quickly become one of my favorite publications. Volume five is beautiful as always, full of gorgeous photos and essays, and it’s quite exciting to see my name in print under the article I wrote (with the help of my dear husband, I should say), all to do with coffee.

yes! i was so happy to see your name under the list of the contributors. congratulations!
AND, i love the look of those marshmellows & graham crackers!
so many beautiful images here. and yay for homemade s’mores! the canning photo with the steam made me stop and say ‘ooh’. :)

Wow a big congratulations!!
This post contains some seriously beautiful photos.
Hurrah for your Kinfolk contribution! And glad you found the Alton Brown and Smitten Kitchen recipes- those are what I use too, although my crimper doesn’t crimp the edges as nicely as yours does- it loses the definition during baking. Beautiful post!
um, seriously? you blow my mind. those homemade grahams and mallows are kinda off the charts.
and the fall colors- WOW! so gorgeous.
and kinfolk feature… major props. i’m excited to see your article.
I just got my Kinfolk today – huge congratulations! It must be so thrilling to see your name in print. And those marshmallow pictures are stunning – the lighting you captured is divine.
